International Childbirth

Our office works with international mothers who would like to give birth in the United States. We can assist you with each aspect of your birth plan, including transportation and lodging.

We offer all of the same prenatal and obstetrics services to our international patients. However, depending on your insurance coverage or payment preferences, you may be required to purchase specific services or items. The typical hospital stay following childbirth is two days for a vaginal birth and three days for a Cesarean section.

You will be responsible for obtaining the necessary visa(s) for your travel to the United States. If you have questions about visas and travel documentation, we may be able to direct you to an immigration expert who can assist you with that process. Please note that only residents of the United States qualify for Medicaid; if you are not a resident, you will not be able to seek Medicaid on your baby’s behalf.

We are here to answer any of your questions about international childbirth, costs, and our range of services. Our staff can offer you specific guidance based on your individual preferences, the length of your stay in the United States, and any special circumstances surrounding your pregnancy. Please contact our office at (281) 991-7603 / (866) 534-BABY (2229) to discuss international childbirth options.
